M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions offer two different types of Apprenticeship Schemes. 

Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship Scheme 

You will work under the direction and guidance of an experienced supervisor, carrying out routine and planned maintenance works on voids and occupied domestic properties.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Our apprentices are on a three scheme and when completed they achieve NVQ level 3 status for Plant Mechanics.
• They circulate around the different workshop areas and gain experience in repair and maintenance in General Equipment , Vehicles and Plant and Small tools.
• We provide a full start up tool kit for each apprentice, which they get to keep on completion of their training.
• We have been running the scheme for over many years and some of our past apprentices have completed 30 plus years’ service with M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions.
• 27% of our retained workshop staff have come through our apprenticeship scheme, and continue to add real value to our business.

Service Scheduler Apprenticeship Scheme

As a member of the Compliance Service Centre you will be working with the HGV scheduling team and you will be trained in all aspects of management of the “Operating Licence” activities. You will be given the opportunity to achieve the Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence Qualification.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Administration of the Operator Licence
• Dealing with external maintenance providers
• Scheduling maintenance events
• Updating systems and keeping accurate records
• Other duties as directed
