MAJOR FLEET INVESTMENT FOR MUS 6th February 2019

M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions continues to support Morrison Utility Services and all group operations by providing commercially effective vehicles, plant and specialist equipment.    

One example is a £7m investment in over 80 Heavy Goods Vehicles that will both replace older existing vehicles and remove 40 externally hired vehicles with limited safety features.

With safety a paramount concern for HGV operations, the new vehicles are all Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) compliant and benefit from vulnerable road user detection features. Examples include a window installed lower in the nearside door to assist with potential blind spots, side detection sensors with an in-cab display and a verbal warning system when manoeuvring into a left turn.
