MORRISON UTILITY SERVICES INTRODUCES BESPOKE JETTER/VACUUM VEHICLES TO DWR CYMRU WELSH WATER CONTRACT
  • New vehicles designed to deliver significant operational, cost and service delivery benefits

Morrison Utility Services (MUS), the UK’s largest dedicated utility service provider, and part of M Group Services, has invested in three bespoke jetter/vacuum vehicles to support teams working on its Dwr Cymru Welsh Water contract.

TheIsuzu 7.5t FlexCom jetter/vacuum vehicles will provide high performance suction and jetting power for MUS teams clearing blockages on behalf of client, Dwr Cymru Welsh Water.

Key benefits of the vehicles include:

  • A single resolution vehicle – enhancing the customer experience by eliminating any requirement for repeat visits
  • A balanced payload between waste and clean water, with the added bonus of capacity for a full 3,000ltrs of clean water for large descaling or cleaning tasks
  • Vacuum/suction capability to enable on site waste removal and prevent potential negative impacts for householders and property owners

MUS Executive Director John Edwards commented: “Investing in high-quality, cutting edge equipment such as this shows our commitment to customer service on the Dwr Cymru Welsh Water contract. The vehicles will project an excellent image for both the client and the MUS teams carrying out work on their behalf.”

The vehicles were supplied to MUS via sister business, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions (MGSPFS) and were built by specialist JetVac supplier Rioned, according to a bespoke MGSPFS specification.

M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions Executive Director Jeremy Harrison commented: “Our engineering team has used its previous experience of developing similar vehicles for Yorkshire Water to optimise the specification of these Dwr Cymru Welsh Water vehicles. The collaboration with Rioned worked very well and we are delighted with both the technical specification of the vehicles and the operational efficiencies that we expect them to deliver to our client.”
